Exploring the sprawling open world of Hogwarts Legacy often leads players to unexpected encounters and hidden adventures off the beaten path. Among the game's unique side missions is the Well, Well, Well quest, which begins by finding an enchanted talking object rather than a traditional quest giver. Completing this objective rewards players with cosmetic gear, gold, and experience points.

Finding the Enchanted Well Location

To initiate the quest, players must journey to the South Hogwarts Region just southeast of the hamlet of Aranshire. Nestled near a mountain valley and a nearby Merlin Trial, you will discover a stone well surrounded by wooden benches and stone ruins. Approaching the structure triggers a conversation with the magical well, which complains about a parchment stuck inside. Interacting with it a second time retrieves the document, revealing a hand-drawn treasure map.

Deciphering the Well's Treasure Map

The retrieved parchment illustrates a distinct landscape featuring a castle ruin, a bridge, and a central tree surrounded by stone structures. While the map provides visual clues, it does not mark an exact waypoint on your main map screen. Players must deduce the location by matching landmarks such as the prominent windmill in the background. This directs your search away from Hogwarts Valley and down toward the distant Feldcroft Region.

Locating the Hidden Treasure in Feldcroft

To reach the treasure site, fast travel to the Floo Flame at Irondale in the southeastern part of Feldcroft. From Irondale, mount your broom and fly southwest over the gorge toward the cliffside castle ruins near the coast. Cross the bridge leading to the small isolated patch of land where a single prominent tree stands. Target the tree and cast the Levioso spell to levitate it into the air, exposing the hidden chest tangled within its roots.

Claiming the Well Well Well Rewards

Opening the levitated chest completes the side quest immediately. Players receive 400 gold coins alongside the Treasure-Seeker's Bicorne Hat cosmetic gear appearance. Additionally, completing the quest grants 180 experience points to aid in overall character progression. This brief puzzle hunt offers an enjoyable break from main storyline missions while rewarding thorough exploration.
